Day 9: Mykonos and Delos

 Day 9: Mykonos and Delos

Weather: Cool, warming gradually

Activities: THB and DB split, THB goes to Delos and DB, SA and DA do a tour of Mykonos and and ate right along the port. THB is on a tour that runs from an 8:45 meet-up and is supposed to be back by 1 to 1:30. THB staggers in at 3. 

short ride on water taxi. Our group  of 25 waits at least 45 minutes in cold and blustery weather before boarding for the 10 minute ride

much large ferry ride of about 35 minutes to Delos. This time  the wait of 30+ minutes is inside

disembark on Delos and another long wait for our guides (the group splits in half)

we amble around, the guide is easy to hear and tells "may be true" stories and we see lots of fakes, genuine fakes and pretty wildflowers. at least we are now moving
