Department of Cancellations:
- New York in September: refund for American Utopia received, this item is now closed (for refund purposes, that's a lot better than "postponed")
- Colombia and Mexico City in November: no update from three airlines on refunds or credits; THB filed a claim with the trip insurance company; they rejected the claim to cover the flights (if airlines do not refund fares). The don't cover CO-19 cancellations. What other reason is there to cancel trips nowadays? Oh, if the tour operator filed for bankruptcy. That is not our situation.

The next day: a pedal boat ride, KB and THB do the heavy duty, DB makes sure none of the monkeys fall out. $40 for half hour, the pedal'rs decide to ease back to the dock a bit early

We switched over to the Mercedes for the twins visit and THB ended up doing something he had avoided for 5 months: holding a gas pump handle (for those that don't know, THB's background included many shifts as a teenager in the family's gas stations)

Our local BofA branch is closed, and only one of 3 atms is working...guy in front of me waited and waited and then his transaction didn't work
And, finally, 2 months late, one of THB's all-time favorite sporting events stats: the Tour de France. Will it make it through the next 3 weeks?
