Department of Definitions

Inappropriate: DJT, he's still and forever always inappropriate, just more-so as time moves on

e.g.,

The White House’s Office of Management and Budget notified agency heads Sept. 4 that federal workplaces will no longer be allowed to conduct “divisive, anti-American propaganda” training that focuses on race theory and white privilege.

THB and DB paid more in Federal AND state taxes than DJT. Or, was it THB and DB paid more in just state taxes than DJT paid in total Fed and state taxes in 10 of the last 15 years. Anyway, DJT paid more in tax accountant costs and legal fees than THB and DB paid, way more.

Department of Health: after 30+ months, THB's Necrotizing Myositis med, methotrexate, has failed to keep his condition under control so now it is back to prednisone and then either monthly IVIG infusions or two infusions of Rituxan and wait 6 months to see how that worked out; infusions requiring 2-3 hours at a time. One side effect of IVIG: may inhibit vaccines. OH, IS THAT ALL? Why would THB ever think about taking a vaccine (and he's already had his flu shot earlier this month for this coming year). In this most straightforward of years, can this be much of a concern? Doc's vote is for Rituxan, starting in October. You'll have to wait for Oct post to find out what happens.

When THB was 60, only two of these containers were in use; now that THB is 11 years older, the list goes on and on and on and on with more to come

Department of Cancellations:

Colombia and Mexico City in November: no update from three airlines on refunds or credits. To rub it in, the trip insurance company sends another "you are not covered" e-mail. Good to know, thanks for the reminder.

MDC Events

How do you know the remodel is over? The porto-potty in the garage is removed after 5 years...

Normally, the parking lot in front of the clubhouse would only be packed if an event was going on in the clubhouse. Not today, there are no events in the clubhouse allowed. These are all guests staying at MDC. Very unusual, way more cars than units.
