E-ville Remediation

Over the last 4 months or so, THB has been taking pics of the progress of final stages of the Sherwin-Williams site remediation.

It has gone on for far longer: there weren't many early pics because they had the site fenced off with fencing (clever) and over the fencing they either had solid wood covered with scaffolding or chain link fencing covered with tarps ("to keep the dust down"). Pics were not all that interesting...like the ones in this posting are fascinating, too.

Today, after several months where the tarps and solid fencing are gone, there are NO, repeat NO, repeat NO, stop repeating NO, workers, trucks, tanks, large berms of concrete mixed with dirt. There is just one small berm of something and empty spaces. Oh, and a shallow pond in the E-ville park to the west of the remediation, formed every winter when there is enough rainfall (over 1/8")
