Day 2: Louisville (3 of 4)

Day 2: Louisville

Weather: Overcast and clearing, mid 60s

Another hour and we are in Louisville and at the 21C in time for lunch at Proof (this is bourbon country) and another great show.

A wall of falling images and THB doing a reverse selfie

Bathroom art: a loud cascading fountain urinal with a two-way mirror so you can take a piss and look out into the hallway outside the restroom. So intimidating THB switched to using a toilet. VERY INTIMIDATING!!

Then there is a set of eyeballs staring at you while you wash your hands. DB reports nothing like  this in the women's restrooms.
Downstairs restroom has a mini-cascading fountain urinal. Not as loud, not as large, same see-through concept.

Lunch is very good, served at a leisurely pace. We share grilled octopus, a banh mi shrimp sandwich and fries, spicy fried chicken thighs served on white bread with dill pickles, and an ice tea, $55.

Lunch pics:

Proof, a tad overstated: loud wallpaper, colored photos on top, buffalo heads on the wall

For some reason we did not order the Grilled Carrot sandwich.

Grilled bread with grilled octopus done le escargot style: lots of butter and garlic

Banh mi with traditional Vietnamese side of "Proof" fries

"hot" chicken

THB thinks these are pics of the 21C owners (from what he found on wikipedia)
