More Intermezzo and twin pics

 Sandy the Wonder Dog

Sandy walking Reggie on a short leash

Sandy in Tech Mode, giving J (or is it C) i-pad tips..have you tried rebooting, girl?

Sandy on whale watch....arf, arf (thar she blows)

Sandy meets her cousin Vinnie, DB's bro's dog
Vinnie wants to be more than just a cousin

Tiburon Bay, June 6

"Honey, it's lovely out, let's go for a sail"

"Uh.....maybe not today, dear"

"I see on Instagram that there's a rare flock of white pelicans floating in the bay"
"Uh......not today, dear"

In E-ville there is a gigantic pomelo

Also in E-ville, there is a new apartment building, Intersection, and here is their required public art

Sherwin-Williams: several buildings are close to occupancy, including a bowling alley and a bike repair facility (residents only) and a huge parking garage

The lure to attract renters:

Wait, do the renters get a day with Sandy The Wonder Dog? She's looking large on the signage...

Ground floor unit (inside), all units are unfurnished
Art gallery included!
another view of gallery
Parking Garage is ready to go and staff is trying it out

Not part of the Sherwin-Williams development, this major overhaul is also nearing completion (it is just down the block from S-W and at corner of loft building)

Twins enjoying a local (1 block away!) pool for kids, at most 2.5 feet deep. That's C's head awaiting the big splash in the second pic

Twins being supervised by Ted the cat (who lives across the street) and the twins are practicing their cat-sitting (Ted will be a house guest in July)

Twins go to their first professional baseball game. Only problem, one of the teams isn't really professional. Here's C making better use of her batting helmet than the A's hitters
J is trying to find a decent A's player....no luck!
In the stomping grounds out in deep right field, the twins have a race...it's a TIE!
A's are getting stomped again

The twins are near the front of the line for the "run" around the bases

The queue goes on and on...if only the A's players could run around the bases

LB snapped this pic when THB was done "running" around the bases

Lunch in Marshall at Tony's, on the way to AH's, cool and dog friendly. THB and DB share a dozen excellent oysters (6 varieties) and fish and chips

AH has a Bustamente piece on display, as do THB and DB, collected over 40 years ago

THB has been taking pics of "murals" around E-ville and this horse on the roof above some "sign" on the side of the building is an oddity

The Loft had a drippy faucet in the 2nd bathroom. Wall opened, THB can't just replace a washer, the leak is in an obsolete junction control and the whole faucet control mechanism had to be replaced, parts no longer available. A drip is worth almost $1,000 nowadays.

Coming soon to those of you braving the great outdoors: there's a tick infestation among us (along with that other infestation, a virus-y thing going around). A prime example is swimming at the bottom of the glass. Drink up! Be Safe!

Bedford Gallery, Walnut Creek
Exhibit of pieces from one collection: all money related. Worth a visit

Boat Ride on the Bay with CYS and SAS: lovely!

Future Home of the Oakland A's (figuratively and literally): The Scrapyard

One of THB's fave sporting events is on early morning TV for 3 weeks:
the TOUR DE FRANCE, great to watch while riding the elliptical
Winner the last two years and leading again this year:
23 year-old Tadej Pogacar from Slovenia

Ooops, today Tadej fell out of the yellow jersey

If you're lucky there are often large pods of white pelicans in the lagoons at Aquatic Park ... my path to the freeway north :-)
