New shades getting installed at the loft
Ooops, there are parts missing, only one functioning shade goes up; time to reschedule. You can only laugh: they are very apologetic and we said it fits with our life-pattern
The installers came back and all shades are up and functioning! Well, except for the little pieces attached to the wall that keep the chains from rattling. In any case, they work great (some panels in the shades screen out light more than others), and the bars and shade covers match the windows.
THB's bridge fell out twice in a week; the second time the dentist used Fuji superglue and it is holding fast

CVS in Target has been shuttered: the grate is down (permanently? it has been closed for weeks) yet the pharmacy is open (and slower than slow)
A new TV comes to the loft: sure enough, not al the old components have input spaces on the new set. Headset adapter is on its way. Will it work? NOPE! (of course not)
before the new set goes into the cabinet, THB makes sure it is fully functional. Still waiting....

Good to get the updates on your lives. Have a great trip to Brazil. We are about to leave for New Orleans, then driving west to Tucson via Big Bend NP in celebration of my sister’s birthday (she is coming along). Betsy and Philip
