It is late in the season, very few brown furry chicks around

penguin summer home; while we watched a few attenmpted to leave after being voted off the iceberg

our zodiac got a close up view of a leopard seal attacking a penguin. this pic is off skuas having at the carcass of one that didn't make it out alive

and here is a leopard seal "playing" with another penguin caught just offshore

Another second or two and the penguin and the leopard seal disappeared underwater, not a good sign for the penguin
