Underwater shots in the Galapagos

I know what you're thinking (particularly Ana!)...How in the hell did a guy who can't take pictures above water, on solid ground, using everything possible to stabilize his shaky hands, take these great pictures.

THB is wondering the same thing!

Ahhhh, isn't technology wonderful?

Daniel the naturalist took these pictures. P had a "portable" drive and accepted Daniel's offer of copies to whomever wanted them. P handed the drive to THB and he stuck it in his HP Netbook and brought them back to E-ville and THB used his own drive to transfer them to his Dell desktop.

Yes, many of you are wondering how THB even did the drive to computer to drive to computer steps...so is THB! That's a lot of technology for guy who doesn't know how to work a phone.

Oh, and aren't the pics great!!!!!

And, it was the only time snorkeling that a wild flightless cormorant attacked us, and Daniel was there to capture the whole attack. Yes, a flightless cormorant, with shrunken wings, put the fear of God into a bunch of humans wearing armor.

  4. These animals can be sooooo aggressive! of course, they are totally tame because humans aren't seen as predators here...
